TY Beanie Babies Plush - Legend the Red Dragon
Not to be confused with the older purple colored dragon who was also called Legend, this red dragon is super fluffly, soft, and cuddly (it’s a Beanie, so that is to be expected). Judging from the little poem that Legend comes with, this little guy is more of a night flier and likes to swoop towards well lit areas in the evenings. Unlike other dragons in the series, his scales on the red part of his skin is not visible at all. But on his wings and belly, which are metallic gold in appearance, the scales are quite visible and marked by a solid black outline
Ty Beanie Boo Plush - Cinder the Green Dragon
Cinder is the friendliest dragon of all the Beanies and finds his happiness best when with his owner. That said, you can still leave it on the stand and it will look pretty great. The green and purple color scheme works surprisingly well though the slightly shiny finish (the scales look a little sequin-like) are an acquired taste. Aside from the regular 6” version of this plushie, there is small miniclip release and a larger medium sized (9”) version of Cinder.
TY Beanie Babies Plush - Y Ddraig Goch Welsh Dragon
Y Ddraig Goch is the red dragon in the Flag of Wales (those of you who enjoy a little bit of heraldry would be familiar with the name). While it does share a similar color scheme and name to the dragon on the flag, this Beanie interpretation is certainly unique in its own way. There is no curled tail or even a tongue poking out of its maw –which are very unique traits of the original. Also, like the other Beanie dragons, the forelegs are short (and more like arms). In any case, if you love Beanies and chance upon this one, we highly suggest getting it. Y Ddraig Goch is a special UK-only exclusive release.
Ty Beanie Babies - Razor the Dragon Camoflage
Razor is a particularly strange colored dragon; his scales have an army style camouflage design going on. Maybe this particular dragon likes hiding a lot –hence the unique color scheme. It is not a particularly common look for a dragon, but it certainly makes for a cute and interesting plushie to have. The belly and wings, like the other Beanie dragons, are colored differently from the rest of the body. In Razor’s case, his are a bright orange. He also has that same semi-sad yet utterly cute facial expression going on. With his camo-print look, Razor makes for a nice gift for both little guys and girls despite being a plushie.
Webkinz Stormy Dragon Plush Toy with Sealed Adoption Code
Stormy is a dragon plushie that owners can “adopt” through the Webkinz website. We will discuss the whole adoption thing in a bit, but first, let’s talk about Stormy!
This purple-bluish dragon is a cute little creature that is standing on all four legs. It has little beady eyes, a small snout, and white horns. The wings are pretty short, but the overall length of the body is pretty long. Lastly on the left hind leg, there is a small mark of the Webkinz logo. It is a pretty cute plushie, and the the slightly long body shape makes it fun to hug of snuggle. If is really fluffy though, so it does require occasional cleaning to keep it clean.
Aside from the dragon being nice to touch and play with, there is an additional level of interactivity to be gained here –like all other Webkinz made plushies, Stormy can be adopted. This is what the ‘sealed adoption code’ is for. The Webkinz website allows you to create an account and register your Stormy (and any other Webkinz plushie) via a special code. Once a code has been used, it is permanently registered to your account. You cannot transfer this ownership, and this makes purchasing Webkinz plushies straight from retail better than getting one pre-owned.
There are some interesting benefits from making the registration, and it mostly revolves around the player being able to take part and interact with the online community. There are games, trading areas, and other exclusive features to be gained by adopting a plushie so we highly recommend it.
