Postage, Delivery Times, Returns and Packaging

Order Processing & Delivery Times
Please note that we try our best to process and wrap your order within 5 working days. This can be longer during busy times. The postage delivery times shown below are then added to this.

Urgent Orders
If you need your order in a hurry for a special occasion, ie birthday or anniversary etc, please let us know when you place the order. There are 2 ways to do this. Either type a note in the special instructions field on the shopping cart page when placing the order, or email us. If we know that your item is for a specific date we will do our utmost to process your order with extra priority to meet your timescale, providing we know well in advance. If you don’t tell us we won’t know. Please don’t let us disappoint you or your recipient.

Postage and Packaging Charges
Please note that our postage charges have to make allowances for several other things apart from the actual cost of the postage. We have to allow for the time it takes to individually check and wrap each item.  We use average postage charges for 500g batches because our shopping cart only has limited shipping charge slots.  Where possible, we recycle packaging but buy certain items, ie book boxes, bubble wrap, tape, green polythene bags and sheets and invoice paper and document wallets.

Delivery
All delivery times are shown as working days but are only a guideline.

UK Orders
We use Royal Mail for smaller orders.  For larger orders we use Parcel2go, a courier service, which charge a fixed rate for up to 10kg or 25kg.  these parcels are signed for upon receipt. You can view details online once posted. Our shipping charges for the UK are as follows:-

NB Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scottish Highlands/Islands, Channel Islands Customers
For our customers in these areas who are placed orders of more than one item, please email us with details of the items you wish to order.  This is due to the fact that our courier classes these destinations as Europe, and therefore use a different charge rate, which is not listed in our standard European fixed rate.  We can then advise you of the correct rate. Thank you.

International Orders
For our international customers we use various shipping methods. We try to keep things inexpensive but use only services which are signed for.

For small to medium sized orders we use Royal Mail Airsure which is trackable abroad and you can obtain confirmation of final delivery online.  We also use Royal Mail International Signed For, for areas which are not covered by Airsure.  These items are tracked only until they leave UK. For larger orders we use Parcel2go, which has a fixed rate up to 10kg.

Western Europe postal rates have been averaged out as there are various international postal zones to cover Europe.  We have averaged the postal rates for Western Europe.

* Please note, customers in Eastern Europe and the rest of the world not shown below who wish to place larger orders please email us your requirements. This will enable us to provide the most cost effective shipping price possible.

Packaging

Your order will be carefully packed to ensure safe arrival of your order.  Please note that wherever possible we reuse and recycle packaging products.
